The Battle of Bosworth features in the book "An Argumentation of Historians" where the protagonists find themselves at the Battle of Bosworth and become entangled in the events leading up to and following the battle.

Meet up at the Bosworth Hall Hotel from 11.45am to then gather in groups of 30, and travel down to the Battlefield (in own car, or taking others with you) for a tour of the Battlefield with a professional guide. For a £6 surcharge you may also visit the Exhibition Centre should you so choose.  (You may also meet at the Battlefield at your designated time should you so wish*) You will then return to the hotel where there will be some light refreshments and the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Killing Time.  *You will be designated a time to best suit your likely arrival time for the battlefield tour once we have a clearer idea of numbers.   

UPDATE:  We are now able to offer a "seated talk" at the Bosworth Heritage Centre instead of walking around the field - you will be asked when filling out the questionnaire whether you want to walk or sit for your guided tour of Bosworth.

We will stagger the groups, so that we are sending the groups down every hour to the Battlefield, so we will need to know in advance, what time you are arriving so that we can allocate you to a group. We will take your arrival time via email as we get closer to the event. 

Those who wish to stay for the evening may enjoy a three course meal, followed by a talk with Jodi Taylor - who will tell us all about the inner workings of the Time Police, and do a Question and Answer session as well as reading us the opening chapter of “Killing Time”.

There will be two ticket choices therefore, the Battlefield Tour only, and for The Tour, plus Meal and time with Jodi. If you do not wish to participate in the tour itself, there is plenty to see and do around the area, and there will be a large quantity of Disaster Magnets milling around the hotel for most of the day.

Meal Choices -  Please fill out the questionnaire linked at the bottom to let us know your requirements.  Even if only attending for the afternoon and not partaking of the meal.

Starters:

• Sweet potato and roasted red pepper soup served with crusty breadroll (GF Available) 
• Traditional prawn cocktail served with buttered white bread (GF available)
• Duck and orange pate served with caramelised red onion chutney and toasted brioche

Mains:

• Hunters chicken breast topped with apple wood smoked cheddar
• Grilled salmon served with hollandaise sauce
• Slow roasted crispy pork belly, served with caramelised apple puree
• Mediterranean Vegetable & Vegan Cheese Wellington served with tomato sauce

Each table will be supplied with accompanying dishes of seasonal veg, roast potatoes and gravy or sauces (with Vegan/GF options)  to suit the diners.  

Desserts:

• Apple & Cinnamon Crumble served with custard
• New York cheesecake served with berry coulis
• Vegan and gluten free chocolate and raspberry tart served with berry compote

Car Parking at the Hotel:  Is Free but you MUST register your car on the screen at either reception desk  (front or back of building).  If you arrive at 10am (for example) and have only booked for one night - you must then revalidate your ticket at 10am the following day if staying longer than 10am.   Please check this with reception on registration.
